Rouzan Kheranian, MS, EA

Our President Rouzan Kheranian brings a unique blend of teaching experience and a multicultural perspective to her role. Having taught in rural Armenia, she understands the challenges and opportunities in these communities. Her deep knowledge of Armenian culture gives her insight into the social-emotional needs of local children, and she has witnessed firsthand how they thrive with genuine care and respect. Educated in both Armenia and the United States, she combines global insights with local dedication, bridging diverse educational approaches to unlock each child’s incredible potential and talents for generations to come.
Jeremy D. Visone, Ed.D.

Dr. Jeremy D. Visone is a faculty member in the Department of Educational Leadership & Instructional Technology at Central Connecticut State University, where he helps educators become leaders in public schools. A passionate advocate for children, he is excited to contribute to a better life and educational experience for children in Armenia. He is a founding member of CERA and presently serves as Chair of the CERA Board Directors.

Mary Beth Iacobelli, Ed.D.
Treasurer, Founding Member
Superintendent of Schools, Norfolk

Dr. Mary Beth Iacobelli is the Superintendent of Schools in Norfolk, and an adjunct professor in the Department of Educational Leadership & Instructional Technology at Central Connecticut State University. She serves on a number of non-profit boards that strive to provide greater access to, and engagement in, quality educational experiences for all children. She is a founding member of CERA and Treasurer of the CERA Board Directors.

Michael Dietter, Ed.D.

Asst. Principal, Middle School, Somers, CT

Dr. Michael Dieter has dedicated his entire career to children’s education and well-being, serving in such roles as Director of Education at Wheeler Clinic, Deputy Superintendent at Bristol Public Schools, and now as Assistant Principal at Mabelle B. Avery Middle School in Somers, CT. His insightful and compassionate advocacy for children has earned recognition from both local and international organizations. He is honored to contribute to the advancement of education and the development of well-rounded children in Armenia.”

Kathryn Serino, Ed. D.

Retired Superintendent, Regional School District 13

Dr. Kathryn Serino (or Kath) spent her career as a teacher and educational leader, retiring 4 years ago after serving as Superintendent of Schools in Regional School District 13. Since retiring she has worked as an educational consultant coaching school leaders individually and in communities of practice. Additionally, she has worked with central office and school-based leadership teams on personal and organizational well-being. She is happy to apply this wealth of knowledge in service of children’s education in Armenia.
